Paris, Last Day

Spent my last day with my exquisite and wonderful friend elin o'Hara slavick. Strolled to Pontoise on the left bank and then all around Ile Saint-Louis. Afternoon and evening walks resulted in a fabulous pair of sunglasses and last visit to the Seine with Susan and Joel. Ahhh, I will surely return....

Star anise on a table setting.

Mille feuille with goat cheese and beet root, topped with a tomato. Olive oil, honey, vinegar and pesto. Fantastique!

The first of two excellent cafes today.

Walking through Ile Saint-Louis. Ecole De Garcons.

Prize Brest chickens. With their feet. And their heads, by the way.

The line at Berthillon ice cream. Worth the wait. I had pamplemousse rose. !

This afternoon's amazing cappuccino venue.

It is served with chocolate and whipped cream. Absolutely the best and richest thing I have ever drunk.

Night walk. Lots of shadows. This is how light it is at 8:00.
