Paris, Day VI

Pere Lachaise Cemetery, Printemps, a 360º view of the city and some exquisite sweets.

But first, a photo of the crushed and filthy Eiffel Tower charm I found on the ground yesterday, walking away from the Tour. I love it. It's sort of the physical manifestation of my composite photos.

As always, click on the individual photo if you'd like to see it bigger.

Here's the wall across from S & J's apartment in the morning.

On the way to the Metro.

At Pere Lachaise...

Oscar Wilde.

The amazing relief of The Raft of the Medusa on Gericault's grave!

Chopin's grave.

The remains of the most delicious sucre et citron crepe, from a sidewalk vendor.

Walking. Always walking.

Printemps from below.

Our visit to Cafe Pushkine.

Chocolate Truffle sprinkled with gold.

Our choice - Baiser au Moscou. Meringue which melted in our mouths filled with ganache.

Here it is in color.

From the top of Printemps...

Back to the apartment, by way of a few favorite places of Susan's. Saw this in the Metro.

This is a cookware store.

Sparkly shoes, for Claire!

Wonderful old Triumph on the street.

PHoto shoot.

Shadows of motorcycles.
