In looking for photos to post in these color portfolios, I discovered that the repercussions of the extraordinarily awful noise coming from my old-ish desktop computer last week were that my entire iPhoto Library went pfft! Gone. Sigh. Tens of thousands of photos taken from 2003 - 2007, when I got my laptop, disappeared. I have a few thousand saved on various external drives, but not all. I am sort of bereft. Liberated, too. But largely bereft.
