- The View From Here contains views of my every day, notations and images of a life in the South, with trips to the North and West, by a gal from New York and then Massachusetts, who finds herself after 15 years, happily ensconced in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, surrounded by her children - one grown, gone away to study, and then returned with a partner, one still here - and her husband, configuring a life as a photographer, a mother, a wife, a friend, and trying to make the world a little bit more beautiful.
