Like having my pinhole camera again! I'm a little consumed. Here  are some shots of the house, the guest room, which is where I've been living for the last 5 weeks, the kitchen table with Rachel Campbell's orchid, pictures of pictures (!), of the kids, and at the front, the ride to OT yesterday.

After the Fall

Here are the x-rays from Cary Hospital (my version, of course...) right after arriving in the ambulance. Can't really tell but the radius is a bit shattered and the carpal bones were shifted. After the x-ray, and some MAJOR medication - morphine and a local anesthetic - the PA shifted everything back. Didn't feel a thing...

My Titanium Wrist

A print out of the x-ray taken this morning with the titanium (the technician thought; forgot to ask the surgeon) fork-shaped plate holding my radius together. Ulna also broken but, thankfully, not as badly. Stitches out (ow!); let the true healing begin!
