Picnic at Annapolis

Here are some images from our last full day at Sea Ranch; lunch with George, Bruce, Tom and the family at the Annapolis Winery. George drove up in his Volvo and Bruce and Tom in their Porsche! They, with Allen, took the walk to the waterfall and then we all drove to Annapolis, after making our sandwiches first. We drank the winery's Gewurtztraminer with lunch (Claire and Ellis had Squirts!) under the apple trees. Bruce and Tom went back home from there, and we five continued with hours of frisbee golf on the mountain. Heaven.

From the winery, we drove to The Hot Spot, a Redwood grove on the way back to our house. Thanks to Nancy and Alex for the tip...

Back at Sea Ranch, I took another walk to the ocean that evening and spotted a whale. It was the most amazing thing.
