Here, in California...

It has been weeks since I posted. We are here in California, though it's 96º outside, 10º warmer than at home in Chapel Hill. Not what we came to California for. But we are staying in the hotel room for the day till we go to San Francisco for dinner with Ward and Vivienne. A little cooler there, always. Here are some of my iPhone pics of CA.

First, a shot of my new gallery in San Francisco; Mina Dresden Gallery (not my pic - from Mina's website!). We saw Rob Lowe filming on the street outside the gallery and I had the presence of mind to say how fantastic he was in Parks and Rec; he put his hand on my shoulder, smiled broadly, making his already incredibly chiseled face even more chiseled, and said "Thanks so much".  !!

I continue to be consumed with,

nay, addicted to, Instagram. It is, for me, a wonderful site to post photos and receive immediate, or close to it, feedback from other folks who are, it appears, also in the same situation - consumed. It seems most of my followers are in Europe or Japan; not sure how it turned out that way. If any of you photographers have an iPhone, you should sign up now and join me in this most pleasurable and non-risky of addictions.
